Special Testing & Consulting is proud of their knowledgeable and professional staff. Our staff of Professional Engineers, field engineers and certified technicians are qualified for all inspections required by the New York City Construction Codes. Our in-house laboratory is run by highly skilled, certified lab technicians performing each required test. Special Testing's office staff, from management to administrative support is not only experienced but courteous and helpful as well. We provide in-house training to ensure that our personnel are familiar with the latest standards, codes and procedures. We provide periodic audits throughout the project which facilitates collaboration between project engineers, owners and inspectors.

Special Testing & Consulting has an in-house, state of the art laboratory which includes a moisture controlled curing room and modern equipment as well separate work stations for concrete testing and soil testing. All of our testing equipment and machines are checked regularly and well maintained. We specialize in high strength concrete and our concrete laboratory is licensed by the NYC Department of Buildings and accredited by A2LA and AASHTO Resource. Special Testing successfully participates in assessment programs conducted by the CCRL. All field personnel receive precise and calibrated equipment to perform inspections, as well as all required safety equipment.
